I think of photography as an element of everyday life. I see images constantly, from when I wake up and notice the morning light as it dances on the wall, until I'm drifting off to sleep and see that same wall and the stillness it has acquired. There is so much visual stimulation on any given day that it's often hard for me to tune it out.
